It is currently snowing all over Yeongdong, Gangwon Province.



A heavy snow advisory has been issued for these areas, and so far, 10 cm of snow has fallen in Hyeonnae-myeon, Gangwon-do, and 3.8 cm has accumulated in Sokcho.



As the snow cloud belt develops stronger overnight, heavy snow of up to 30cm or more will fall in the central and northern parts of Yeongdong, Gangwon-do.



You need to be well prepared to avoid damage overnight.



Most of this snow will stop in the morning of tomorrow (25th), but tomorrow there will be heavy snow mainly in Honam and Jeju.



There will be a lot of snow of up to 30cm in the mountains of Jeju, up to 15cm in the west coast of Honam, and up to 8cm in the inland of western Honam.



Meanwhile, a cold wave warning has been issued for most of the country, with the first cold wave warning issued in Seoul this winter.



Currently, the temperature in Seoul has dropped to minus 3.7 degrees, but tomorrow morning it will drop to minus 14 degrees and the cold wind will make the sensible temperature fall below minus 20 degrees.



In the southern provinces, the temperature will be around minus 5 degrees tomorrow morning, and most of the daytime temperatures will stay in the sub-zero range.



The snow on the west coast and Jeju Island will continue through Monday, and the cold will continue through the middle of next week.
